Returns and Refund Policy
Welcome to GoGreenGuru.com website and marketplace. The products on the GoGreenGuru website and marketplace (hereinafter referred to as “GoGreenGuru”, “we”, “us” and “our”) have been carefully curated to include sustainability vendors and social enterprises (hereinafter referred to as “vendors” or “service providers”) across India and the world. The products and services of these vendors are carefully sourced keeping in mind their sustainability aspects and their eco-friendliness.
Given the overall philosophy of sustainability please make informed buying choices. We urge our customers (hereinafter referred to as the “Customers”, “You”, “Your”) to do prior research and check the reviews to make an informed buying choice. You can use our Community Forums to ask and gather additional relevant information or reach out to our vendors before you make the purchase. We would, as far as possible, urge our customers to keep returns and refunds at minimum given the nature of the products and the overall philosophy with which the same has been curated. Many of the products returned can potentially end up being discarded if they cannot be sold again impacting the sustainability equation.
Refund/Exchange Eligibility
As several of our products are natural, handmade or recycled, please expect slight variations in shape, colour, scent, and weight. While we work with our vendors and their manufacturers to create uniformity where possible, by definition and given the nature of the products these differences are inherent and cannot be considered as defects for these product category.
We understand that return or exchange or refund is necessary if the products received is damaged, lost in transit, or wrong item is delivered. In such case please initiate the returns or exchange through Returns module of the marketplace, selecting the appropriate reasons.
A refund or exchange will not be extended to the items listed on the website for the products which fall under the category of personal hygiene products, food products, books, intimate or self-care products except in the event that the product has been damaged during delivery, or the product has been lost in transit or the wrong product has been shipped. For other product returns or refunds for any other reasons, refer the returns/refund eligibility in the respective product listing.
All return or exchange or refund requests as per the above policy must be initiated within 7 days of physical receipt of the product or scheduled delivery date for products not delivered. The time limitation shall be strictly required to be complied with and all products shall be deemed to be accepted to the full satisfaction of the customer where no such request has been raised within 7 days from receipt.
The customers shall select appropriate reasons for return/exchange/refund request. The customer might be asked to provide additional evidence in form of pictures or video. In relation to combos where only one or more products have been damaged and the other products are intact, the refund shall be pro-rata or the product replacement shall be carried out only in relation to the specific damaged products forming a part of the combo.
Only genuine and bonafide requests for refunds or exchange/replacements shall be entertained. Refund or replacement for incorrect/damaged product delivered shall be processed only on the receipt of the product by GoGreenGuru vendors. Please ensure that products are returned with original packaging with all the relevant labels and tags intact.
No refunds or exchanges/replacements shall be accepted or processed where the damage to the product is attributed to an act or omission of the customer, where the customer has negligently handled the product or failed to comply with the instructions of care as specified in relation to the respective product.
Reverse Pick Up
For any returns as per the above policy, GoGreenGuru vendor shall offer a no cost reverse pick up of the product from your address. You shall ensure that for any such returns or replacements or refunds where an incorrect product has been delivered, that the product being returned by you shall be unopened, unused and not damaged, with all the relevant labels, tags, and in original packaging.
No refund or exchange shall be entertained where the product returned has been opened, used, tags removed or in any manner modified from the original1condition and packaging in which the same was delivered.
Cancellation of Order
You may cancel your order any time prior to the shipping being initiated. Once the order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. It would follow the returns/refund process as applicable,
Processing Time
Refund or replacement shall be processed by GoGreenGuru within 15-20 days from the date of receipt by GoGreenGuru vendor of the incorrectly delivered product or where the product has been damaged or lost in transit within 15-20 days from the date of confirmation of the request being eligible for replacement or refund. Refund amount would be in initiated into the respective account from which payment was made. A UPI ID or Bank account details might be requested if for some reason the refund to same account is not possible.

This policy may be amended from time to time, any such amendments or modifications shall be published here. Your continued use and access of our services after we publish the changes to these terms and conditions means that you have consented to the updated policy from time to time.
